About The Event
It brings me so much joy to host another retreat here in this magical part of the world!
We will spend our time nestled in the luscious green mountains of the Sacred Valley in Peru. Focussing on the energy around us and within us.
Samadhi is a beautiful second home for our retreat - created with love by a wonderful Peruvian family who you'll meet during your stay.
This is a trip of a life time where you will connect not only with yourselves but also with Pachamama, our Mother Earth.
I love facilitating spaces so people can thrive and there's no better place than to do it than here in the mountains - it truly is a magical place.
Peru is my favourite country in the world - and I've explored 50 countries of it. It's something that can only be understood when you experience it with your own eyes and it's unmatchable. All I can say is, it's something that will live with you forever!
Our retreat schedule will look a little something like this!
Spend your days waking with the sunrise, if you're lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the humming birds as you drink your morning tea.
Making your way up to the Sun Shala, where we will look out onto the mountains and flow through our morning yoga practice. After our soul workout we will head down to the dining room for breakfast. All the food has been foraged from the chakra gardens or sourced from the mountains themselves - you will get to learn how they do this during your time and even experience a wonderful cooking class with the divine chef!
Most days will be filled with activities you can drop in and out of. Like painting in the mountains, or making pottery. Exploring creativity whilst connecting with our inner child and getting creative in the kitchen with our wonderful chef!
Or a trip to the local markets of Pisac!
There will be an option to visit the Alpaca's in the mountain where you can have a bath with them! This will be an additional cost - or you can rest at Samadhi.
Speaking of rest - you'll have time between the schedule to just do you! Spend your free time in the relaxation pool or get a facial or massage. Walk around the chakra gardens and the grounds - you will notice how much detail has truly gone into this place. Whatever 'relaxation' means to you - you'll find it here.
Lunch will be on the table waiting for us - trust me you'll start getting excited to see what colours they bring to the table, day by day! Oh, and there's also an onsite cafe just for us with a wonderful menu of hot cacao, different coffees, vegan treats, elixir drinks and sweet treats! There's even a little boutique for wonderful jewellery, clothing and gifts.
This whole retreat is about making daily choices, what you feel like, what your body needs, what encourages you to step into your power. Everything is optional! Giving you the freedom to listen to what you really desire, expansion? change? growth? rest? it's all yours! Day by day, choice by choice - you have the power to shape your retreat, and well, your life.
Finishing the day with a workshop or activity in the Moon Shala or in the chakra gardens. Having a yummy 3 course dinner and a soul circle - where we have the opportunity to share wisdom or just sit back and listen.
Through out the week we will get to know ourselves a little more, as well as creating connection with others. There will be an option to take part in the Temazcal, our traditional sweat lodge. This is a fantastic experience to release and let go of anything that's holding you back from stepping into your best self! This is a 3 hour ceremony guided by a shaman, where you will be held in a safe space with heat, challenging the senses and ultimately, being 'born' back into the world as the person you want to move through life as. Your best self.
This is a strongly recommended practice - but you will have the choice to take part. Remember everything is a choice! This is a spiritual practice and a life changing experience and a beautiful wrap up to a magical week.

A Temazcal sweat lodge replicates the earth's womb. The ceremony is a journey of renewal and healing that is led by a shaman or healer. It begins with a welcoming ceremony by the shaman guide. Then you enter the Temazcal, already at a high temperature, where you will take a seat in a circle around the hot stones and special herbs that will cleanse your body and mind. During the process, the shaman will perform the ritual to purify and renew you.
Feed the alpacas whilst bathing in the mountains? Erm, yes please.
Explore the colourful markets of Pisac. Let's go!
Getting creative with paints or just become a kid again and splat the board. Art is Art babes!
Join our Soul Family!

Bethaney (left) the retreat facilitator will be taking you through intuitive workshops, journalling sessions and soul circle discussions. Bethaney has been practicing yoga on the mat since 2015. It was in 2018 that she decided to embark on an immersive yoga teacher training course in Thailand. Ever since, this has evolved into creating space for people to step into their power as their best possible selves, through online courses, in person events and retreats. She has even taught at the Om Yoga show and collaborated with Yoga Design Lab for their International Day of Yoga in 2024.
Connie (right) is our retreat yoga teacher and she will be guiding us on the mat for daily yoga, where we will rise with the sun. During your stay you will meet the wonderful family who own and run Samadhi, they will be taking us on a journey through the chakra gardens and show us where they grow and make our tasty meals! They will lead the other activities such as pottery, painting and our crystal bath meditation!

Connie has been teaching Yoga for 7 years and her passion is centred around encouraging regular movement practices, leaving perfectionism at the door and moving to simply feel good. Practices balance the grounding elements of Hatha weaved with some dynamic flow elements of vinyasa, inviting students of all levels to explore their physical potential and inner strength. Connie’s classes hope to inspire those who step onto the mat, to prioritise movement as a path to improved wellbeing.
Fun fact: Connie and Bethaney started out their yoga journey together back in 2015! Sharing lifts to a local yoga class and keeping each-other accountable - having no idea they'd become teachers themselves or even wind up sharing the magic of Samadhi - with YOU!

Flight information:
Flights are not included and you will be responsible for booking your own. However, we will have a whatsapp group for you to meet other guests. In the past some have become travel buddies and even hung out in Cusco before the retreat!
You will need to fly into Cusco Airport (Peru) - This may mean you will need to book a flight to Lima Airport (Peru) and then catch a short flight into the mountains - Cusco! If you have more time to play with to see the diversity of Peru, you can jump on the PeruHop (tourist designed bus route) which has lots of excursions on the way. If you wanted to this then I'd recommend up to a week to travel from Lima to Peru by bus (and enjoying the sites!). But if you want to focus on the retreat and your time in Cusco - it's the go to city everyone visits in Peru! And of course we have Machu Picchu! You can do a 3-4 day hike there if you're feel like ticking off a bucket list - Inca trail or Salkantay trail will be the choices. Or just head up on the train (4ish hours) from Cusco (book in advance). You can chill in Aguas Calientes the night before and catch a 30 minute bus straight up to Machu Picchu ($12) or take the 40 minute walk up - then do the same in reverse. Either way - it's awesome. I've hiked the Inca Trail once and the Salkantay Trail twice... and caught the train up a separate time so believe me when I say it was mind-blowing each time - it's one of the world wonders after all!
I strongly recommend staying in Cusco for a bit longer before or after the retreat. It is such a great place to explore! If you have more flexibility then the whole of Peru is just magical, I recommend looking into the PeruHop if you're looking to travel outside of Cusco (and even down to Bolivia if you wanted to on the same bus!).
I do not recommend doing anything crazy when you arrive in Cusco due to the high altitude. Resting is important and taking gentle walks around the town and markets (worth it - so much to see just walking around!).
I strongly recommend not going up Rainbow Mountain or doing anything too physical when you arrive just so you can slowly acclimatise. A few days is ample for adjusting so book any excursions after a few days or after the retreat.
Please take this into account when you're thinking of visiting Cusco, Peru. Our retreat centre is based in The Sacred Valley (90 minute drive from Cusco) is at a lower altitude to Cusco so it's an ideal place to acclimatise! So, even if you arrive on the day of the retreat - you will be driving down to lower altitude with milder symptoms.
This retreat will be led in spoken English
